Speed Darlington, a Nigerian hip-hop artist, believes he deserves rewards for his fame, also known as Darlington Okoye.
This comes a few days after the musician, who is based in the US, was criticized for demanding payment of N5,000 before hugging or taking selfies with some of his followers, according to TSZ Naija.

However, Speed Darlington argued that he deserved to be rewarded for his fame during an appearance on the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, which was co-hosted by media personality Nedu.
He said, “I really think I should be paid for being a celebrity.”

However, Speed Darlington disputed his assertions, stating, “What generates that love? Why them no hug mad man for road?”
