Hilda Baci, Nigerian chef, responded to Abuja base company’s legal threat, initially denying knowledge of their planned event.
According to TSZ Naija, Hilda denied rumors a few days ago that she was charging visitors to Abuja 25, 000 Naira to watch her prepare food.

In a message on her social media profile, Baci canceled the “meet and greet” event and made it clear that she had not requested that anyone pay such a sum of money.
She said: “Hi everyone. This is to inform everyone that I’m not doing any meet and greet in Abuja. I would also never ask anyone to pay for such.”
Hilda has been called out by the event’s organizers with accusations and documentation of payments received for the event, though.
They said that an advance payment was given to the celebrity chef and that both sides agreed to release a publication for the occasion.
The event’s planners acknowledged that Hilda’s behavior had a negative impact on their reputation and promised to take all necessary measures to see that justice was done in the matter.
In reaction to the accusations, the Akwa-Ibom-born chef on Monday night made it clear to her supporters via her verified social media account that the money paid by the event’s organizers was reimbursed since she was uncomfortable with the charging arrangements.

She added that she had informed the organizers of her decision to leave the agreement in the hopes that they would not put the flyers up on their platform.
She refused to take part in their planned event, but unfortunately they went ahead.
