During an appearance on Cool FM Nigeria’s Big Friday Show, hosted by fellow reality TV star Tacha, Ike clarified why he didn’t attempt to reignite their relationship during the recent Big Brother Naija All-Stars season.
He expressed, “I didn’t rekindle my relationship with Mercy in the just concluded Big Brother Naija All Stars season because we are better off as friends.

At least for me, I always feel like when you go back to an ex, you might not always get what you want.”
