Nedu, also known as Chinedu Ani Emmanuel as his real name, is a popular media personality and actor in Nigeria.
He recently discussed how rumors about his podcast’s host’s hatred of women cost him a lucrative sponsorship agreement worth millions of naira.
According to TSZ Naija News, Nedu revealed this on the most recent episode of the “Honest Bunch” podcast, which he, Husband Material, and Deity Cole co-host.
He claims that there are widespread rumors to the effect that he despises women, and the beverage company claims that hiring him will not be popular with their female clientele.
Nedu insisted that he didn’t feel guilty despite the defeat, noting that some people had accused him of favoring women excessively in his skits but had afterwards claimed that his podcast promoted hatred of women.
He said, “I almost signed an endorsement three weeks ago and I lost it. I’m not feeling bad. I didn’t feel bad for a second but I lost it.
“Why did I lose it? Because a lot of people were flying with the narrative, ‘Nedu hates women.’ And it’s a beverage brand. The brand said, ‘If this is what people are saying, it means it is not going to go well with our female audience.”
I Encouraged A Newlywed Who Was Unfaithful.
Meanwhile, Nedu has since revealed that he helped a recentlywed woman cheat on her spouse.
During a segment of the “Honest Bunch Podcast,” the actor made this statement.
He claimed that the woman’s spouse had argued against having sex while they were dating, and that when they eventually got married, she discovered he couldn’t have an erection.
The comedian stated that the circumstances called for him to stand up for the woman while also encouraging individuals whose fiancés would bring up a “no s3x before marriage” agenda to make sure they carry out adequate inquiry to know the genuine reason behind it before they accept.
