Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, has firmly stated that he will never engage in real-life money rituals, despite his reputation for playing occultic roles in movies.
In an interview with Afia TV, he emphasized his rejection of such practices and clarified his stance.

Kanayo expressed his belief that money rituals are unethical and will never be acceptable. He affirmed that he has never participated in such rituals.
The actor discussed the nickname “Nnanyi Sacrifice,” which was playfully given to him by someone during billionaire businessman Obi Cubana’s mother’s funeral.

Kanayo immediately rejected the name, but it seemed to have stuck with him. Nevertheless, he emphasized that he doesn’t care what names people call him as long as he receives proper compensation for his work.
Kanayo concluded by highlighting the importance of the messages conveyed in films and their potential to bring about positive societal change. He emphasized that he sees himself as a vessel for delivering these messages and is focused on his craft.
