In a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, popular singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, known as Ruger, shared his perspective on Nigerian women and his experiences as an artist.
Ruger expressed his belief that Nigerian women are not necessarily the best in the world, and he stated that any well-traveled man would likely concur with this viewpoint.

He emphasized that while Nigeria has many good women, claiming they are the best is not entirely accurate. He humorously mentioned that misconceptions about the figures of women from different regions exist, highlighting that even some white women have “booties” contrary to stereotypes.
Regarding his stage performances, Ruger mentioned that he would not invite female fans on stage during his shows in Nigeria as he does when performing abroad.

He attributed this decision to previous criticism he received for dancing with female fans on stage in Nigeria.

He expressed a desire to avoid potential problems and conflicts with Nigerian audiences, noting that some people might misinterpret his actions. Ruger playfully referred to Nigerian girls as “liars” in this context.
