Tragically, Don Brymo Uchechi, a well-known actor in the Nollywood industry, has passed away, Brymo peacefully passed away in his sleep.

According to reports, the talented actor collapsed while filming on Wednesday and was promptly rushed to the hospital, where medical professionals managed to revive him.

However, devastatingly, Brymo peacefully passed away in his sleep on Thursday morning.

Nollywood actor, Mayor Ofoegbu, took to his Facebook page to confirm the heartbreaking news.

Accompanied by a picture of the departed, Ofoegbu shared his poignant thoughts: “Plan for tomorrow but live for today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. I wrote those lines on my WhatsApp status yesterday evening.

My dear friend, my brother, Don Brymo Uchegbu, passed away peacefully in his sleep.”

Upon receiving the shocking news, Ofoegbu sought confirmation from the actor’s family. In his heartfelt post, he mournfully exclaimed, “Chai, Don Brymo, my dear friend, it’s hard to say goodbye. Nnukwu nwa na Enugu Ukwu.”

Born in Enugu-Ukwu, Njikoka LGA of Anambra state, the late actor leaves behind a wife and children. Throughout his illustrious career, Don Brymo Uchegbu showcased his exceptional talent and versatility, effortlessly embodying diverse roles on the silver screen.

Don Brymo’s acting journey began during his secondary school days, where he actively participated in stage plays and dramas.

In 2000, he joined the esteemed Nollywood industry, making his mark by appearing in over 80 films, including notable titles such as My Beloved Daughter, Snake Battle, Land of Fire, No Mercy, My God Never Sleeps, and many others.

Throughout his career, he had the privilege of working alongside renowned actors, including Ken Erics, Yul Edochie, Ngozi Ezeonu, Ebele Okaro, Regina Daniels, Mike Ezeruonye, and countless others. The loss of Don Brymo Uchegbu has deeply saddened the Nigerian film community and beyond.
