Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde welcomed Nigerian musician B-Red, cousin of afrobeat star Davido, and his team.
B-Red, who happens to be the son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, a fellow member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) like Governor Makinde, paid a visit to the Oyo State Governor.
Governor Makinde took to social media to share photos of the visit, expressing his delight, “I received B-Red, an artiste and the son of my brother, His Excellency Ademola Adeleke, on a courtesy visit this evening.”
The purpose of the visit was not immediately disclosed.
Similarly, B-Red posted pictures from the visit on his Instagram account the following day, stating, “Spent time with the executive Governor of OYO state @seyi_amakinde. I’m thrilled to learn about the great plans for the people of OYO state.”

In a recent revelation, B-Red, during his appearance on the Echoo Room podcast hosted by Quincy Jonze, shared that his cousin Davido, who is now a renowned artist, once served as a backup singer.
B-Red boldly claimed that it was he who encouraged and pushed Davido to pursue a career in music. Recognizing Davido’s exceptional talent, B-Red advised him to channel his abilities into singing.
