Uche Maduagwu Blasts Julius Agwu For Attributing His Failed Marriage To God

Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has taken a critical stance regarding Julius Agwu’s recent statement about the failure of his marriage.

Julius Agwu had attributed the breakdown of his marriage to not seeking God’s guidance before marrying his ex-wife, Ibiere Maclayton.

Reacting to this in a post on his Instagram account, Uche Maduagwu expressed his opinion that attributing marriage failure solely to a lack of divine consultation is unfair.

He asserted that consulting God doesn’t automatically ensure a lasting marriage; rather, the joint efforts of the couple play a significant role in the longevity of the relationship.

Uche Maduagwu added that if simply consulting God was the key to enduring marriages, then the marriages of prominent clergy members would not face challenges or fall apart.

In his post, he wrote: “Consulting God does not make #Marriage Last, only mutual effort of couples do. God is not a Magician, consulting him before Marriage will not prevent quarrels, disagreement, little misunderstanding, no, it is how #couples handle these issues that determines if the union go last.

“Some people don’t even believe in God, yet, are celebrating over 50 years of #wedding Anniversaries. Dear OGA Julius, it’s unfair to ibiere and you Na PIKINS to attribute why your IGBEYAWO no last to not allegedly consulting God.

Uche Maduagwu’s response reflects his belief that while spirituality can play a role, the success of a marriage also hinges on the effort, communication, and understanding between the couple.
