Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi, the acclaimed and award-winning actress, has expressed her heartfelt reaction to the tragic passing of Nigerian music sensation, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
Abraham conveyed her deep sorrow, emphasizing that Mohbad had left an indelible mark on her heart and had displayed remarkable humility during his brief time on this Earth.

She struggled to accept the reality of his departure and wished she could wake up from the painful dream.
In her tribute, the actress fondly recalled their time on the set of her movie “Ghost and the Tout” and how Mohbad had exhibited a level of humility that she found lacking in some of his contemporaries.
She further noted that just like his name “Imole” suggests, his light shone brightly, making it difficult for her to believe he is gone.
Toyin Abraham went on to emphasize that Mohbad had touched not only her heart but also the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
She acknowledged that his untimely death had revealed a plethora of shocking, complex, and seemingly unbelievable stories that were difficult to come to terms with.

In a plea for justice, Abraham called upon the government and security agencies to spare no effort in finding Mohbad’s killers.
She acknowledged that although they could never bring him back, ensuring total justice would be a crucial step in the healing process for all who mourned his loss.
