Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has taken to her Instagram page to make an appeal to the Federal Government, requesting the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
As the sister-in-law of Pete Edochie, Rita Edochie firmly believes that if the government releases Nnamdi Kanu, the unrest in the South East region will be resolved and become history.
She expressed her frustration towards the government, urging them to stop toying with people’s lives, especially while their own children reside overseas.
“Release Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu today, and witness the cessation of unrest in the South East. Stop playing with people’s lives, particularly you elites. Your children are overseas, yet you exploit other people’s children to incite unrest. If you are among them, your future generations will never experience peace.”
