Chinedu Ikedieze, the well-known Nigerian actor known as Aki, has voiced his concerns regarding the growing number of online beggars.

Taking to Instagram, the legendary actor lamented about the multitude of people flooding his Direct Message (DM) with requests for financial assistance.

In a video posted on his page, Aki revealed that someone had audaciously asked him for $35,000, while another individual requested $12,000 through a DM.

An exasperated Aki emphasized that these exorbitant monetary appeals are not solely originating from Nigerians.

He appealed to social media users to recognize that celebrities also have their own responsibilities and cannot fulfill every demand, particularly during challenging times.

The way you all beg, it’s as if we don’t have our own obligations. If I start giving out money like that, it will be exhausted.

Imagine someone begging me for $35,000. How much is that in Naira? Approximately over twenty million. Another person asked for $12,000 to open a shop. The problem is not limited to Nigerians alone,” he expressed.
