In order to demand justice for the late singer Mohbad, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has announced plans for a rally in Lagos State.
During an Instagram live session on Monday, she revealed that her NGO, Pinkies Foundation, would be submitting a letter to the state government on Monday in preparation for the rally scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday.

Iyabo Ojo called on fellow entertainers in the industry to join the protest and urged Governor Sanwo Olu to take action. She emphasized the need for a thorough investigation, stressing that they did not want a superficial inquiry.
She expressed regret that they had failed Mohbad when he was alive and stated that he had paid the ultimate price.
She further mentioned that the autopsy must be conducted, as Mohbad had been distressed and paranoid when she met him.
She informed her audience that her lawyer and foundation would send letters to various offices, including international bodies, and that they planned to visit the governor’s office for a peaceful rally to demand justice.

Mohbad had raised concerns about threats to his life by the Marlian record label, owned by Naira Marley, while he was alive.
Following videos and evidence circulating online, the Lagos State Police Command announced a full-scale criminal investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death in response to growing public concerns.
