Hilda Dokub, Nollywood actress, has bid farewell to Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the Chairman of Daar Communications.

According to Punch, Dokpesi, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), died at the age of 71 in Abuja.
Sources revealed that he passed away in an Abuja hospital after suffering a stroke, which occurred after the Ramadan fast.
Prior to his sudden death, the AIT boss had been managing his health and undergoing occupational therapy to improve his daily activities.
After nearly a month since his passing, he was laid to rest in Abuja. Hilda Dokubo shared clips from the burial ceremonies and bid him goodnight.
Describing him as her friend, teacher, and mentor, Hilda acknowledged his accomplishments and expressed gratitude for his impact.
“Finally Rested. Ezomo came, saw, and conquered. His earthly mission is complete, and though we cannot fill the void he left behind, remembering him will bring smiles, conversations, laughter, and even tears. We thank God for his goodness.”
Last year, Hilda Dokubo publicly announced her political aspirations.

Following in the footsteps of her colleagues such as Tonto Dikeh and Desmond Elliot, she expressed her intention to run for office.
Unveiling her campaign poster, Hilda Dokubo shared that she applied to become a member of the House of Representatives for the Asalga Akulga federal constituency.
