Obiageli Molobe, a renowned Nollywood actress, is currently suffering from a stroke that has affected her right leg and left hand, as reported by TSZ Naija.
This information was shared during a visit by actress Foluke Daramola, who is also known for her philanthropy work.

Foluke, in a video posted on her Instagram page, disclosed that Obiageli has been dealing with this illness for a considerable period. However, due to Foluke’s busy schedule during the campaign season, she couldn’t visit Obiageli earlier.
Foluke Daramola mentioned that Obiageli is not only battling with a stroke but is also a diabetic patient with high blood pressure. She emphasized that Obiageli’s children have been solely responsible for covering the expenses of her surgery and other medical treatments, as they preferred not to burden the public with their mother’s condition.
Foluke appealed to the general public to provide financial assistance to Obiageli, considering her significant contributions to the Nigerian film industry (Nollywood) as one of the pioneers.
Foluke added, “It has been quite some time since I heard that she hasn’t been feeling well, so I decided to pay her a visit. Mama has shown tremendous strength even during the campaign, and her children have taken it upon themselves to care for her without seeking public attention. However, I told them that we should celebrate her while she is still with us.”

“These individuals have devoted themselves to shaping who we are today, and it is only fair that we give back to them. She underwent surgery, and there is a metal implant in her leg. Previously, she was a diabetic patient with high blood pressure.”
The veteran actress also recounted her own experience of being diagnosed with a partial stroke in October of the previous year, following an unfortunate incident at her home.
