Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin Falana, widely known as Falz, has shared details about his experience with a knee injury and subsequent surgery.
In a recent interview with Cool FM, Falz recounted how he sustained a knee injury while playing football, a sport he is passionate about.

He explained that his love for active sports participation led to the injury. The 32-year-old artist revealed that the severity of the injury required him to undergo anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery.
Falz explained that his knee was in a state of disarray, and he couldn’t pinpoint exactly how the injury occurred, considering that he has been playing football since a young age.
He described this period as one of the most challenging times in his life, while noting that such injuries are quite common among athletes.

Asked about the possibility of further surgeries, Falz shared that he is currently undergoing a rehabilitation process, which includes intensive physiotherapy.
He also light-heartedly joked about his football skills, playfully suggesting that his exceptional striker abilities might have led to envy among other players, resulting in their potential sabotage to sideline him from the team.
