TSZ Naija reported that the pump price of fuel reached an alarming N612 per litre on Tuesday.

In a video message shared via his Instagram page on Friday, Yhemolee voiced his reaction to the current economic crisis, emphasizing that it is affecting not only the ordinary citizens but also the wealthy individuals.

He highlighted the depreciation of the Nigerian Naira against foreign currencies, particularly the British Pounds and the United States Dollars, which has led to significant financial challenges for Nigerians.

Yhemolee pointed out that the spike in fuel prices has disrupted the daily lives of many Nigerians, making it difficult for them to commute to their workplaces and conduct their businesses.

He expressed his frustration, sharing a personal experience of spending 15 minutes driving from Oniru, Victoria Island, to Lekki Camp, which would usually take much longer due to traffic. This indicated that many people were unable to go out due to the fuel crisis.

Furthermore, Yhemolee provided startling figures to illustrate the impact of the fuel price increase on his own expenses. He revealed that it cost him N52,000 to fill his Range Rover and N32,000 for his Chevrolet, totaling N80,000 in fuel costs for both cars. Since he fills up twice a week, the monthly expense on fuel alone amounts to N640,000.

In conclusion, Yhemolee’s video message reflected the dire situation faced by Nigerians, with the escalating fuel prices creating severe financial burdens for people from all walks of life, including himself.
