Israel Afeare, widely known as Israel DMW, who serves as Davido’s Logistics Manager and is a social media personality, has issued an apology to the Muslim community for the controversial video shared by the singer.
The video in question, featuring a music video of Davido’s signee, Logos Olori’s song ‘Jaye Lo,’ showed people praying in an Islamic manner and dancing.

This led to severe criticism directed at Davido, prompting him to eventually remove the video from his social media pages.
Despite the removal of the video, the Muslim community continued to demand a public apology from Davido.
Stepping in on behalf of his boss, Israel DMW took to his Instagram story to offer a heartfelt apology. He explained that the video was intended purely as an entertainment endeavor, but it was mistakenly presented in a manner that caused offense.
Israel expressed his sincere apologies to his Muslim brothers and sisters, emphasizing that the video was never intended to disrespect or demean anyone’s faith.

He assured them of his love and urged them to forgive any unintended misunderstanding.
