Nigerian vocalist, David Adeleke, popularly addressed as Davido, has extended his heartfelt condolences to his fellow musician, Ayodeji Balogun, more commonly known as Wizkid, following the tragic passing of Wizkid’s mother.
During his performance at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States, over the past weekend, Davido also took a moment to reflect on the loss of his own mother several years ago.

He shared these sentiments: “I would like to express my profound condolences to my friend Ayo Balogun, Wizkid, on the loss of his mother. May her soul find eternal peace.”
Recalling the recent event, it’s worth mentioning that Wizkid’s mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, sadly passed away last Friday after a brief period of illness.
