Habeeb Okikiola, street-hop singer known as Portable, has made a heartfelt plea to his fans and colleagues, urging them to celebrate and appreciate him while he is still alive.

This call to action came in response to the outpouring of love and eulogies for his colleague, Mohbad, who tragically passed away.

Portable, who is also a record label founder, expressed his concern that Mohbad’s supporters and fellow celebrities did not sufficiently encourage and support him during his lifetime.

He noted that it was only after Mohbad’s untimely death that his music and projects gained significant attention on digital streaming platforms both in Nigeria and abroad.

In his message, the “Zazuu Zeh” crooner emphasized his desire to be celebrated and recognized while he is still living, rather than receiving what he referred to as “fake love” after his demise.
