Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, a Nigerian Alte singer, has reacted to the controversial video of Ayodeji Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, attempting to raise her at their recent concert at the O2 Arena.

The sonorous singer did this by reiterating her love for Wizkid and stating that it will never change.
The 26-year-old stated this in a video released on Friday in which she performed the duo’s hit single, ‘Essence.’ The performance took place on Wednesday and was completely sold out at the O2 Arena.
The video was released the same day as a viral video of the self-proclaimed star boy attempting to lift Tems. This occurred while they were both performing on his album tour in London.
Wizkid was inviting Tems on stage to perform Essence in the video. Wizkid can be seen putting his arms around Tems’ buttocks in an attempt to lift her.
The video has sparked a Twitter debate since its release. Some Twitter users accused Wizkid of sexual harassment, while others defended him.
However, in the video which surfaced on Friday, Tems said, “All I’m going to say is Wiz is my brother, and someone I look up to.” She further stated that she is grateful “for all he’s done and his existence.”

“I want you guys to remember that he’s human, I’m human, and I love him, and that’s not gonna change,” she continued.
