Simi Kosoko, an award-winning Nigerian musician, has described her recent incident at a Lagos immigration office.
The mother of one stated on her Instagram page that she was almost denied access into a passport office due to her attire.
According to the ‘Duduke’ singer, the security guard approached her while she was trying to enter the building and told her she was indecently clad and wouldn’t be allowed inside.

Simi went on to say that, despite her popularity, the officials were concerned about her clothing, ordering her to remove her nose ring and earrings.
“I look myself up to down, and asked, can you see anything in my body that is indecent? He said he cannot see, but I should go back and wear something more ‘down’.”
