Portable, also known as Habeeb Okikiola, left his home after becoming famous, explained by Small Doctor the Nigerian street-hop artist.
In an interview with the Echo Room on Thursday, Small Doctor said that Portable ran away after being instructed to conduct a body wash.
“When he first met me, I told him that he needs to use body wash to look good, but he disagreed because he thought I was trying to kill him with packaging,” he added.
I told him repeatedly that he was a superstar and that he should quit acting like a tout and dress appropriately.
The Agege-born star also mentioned that Portable has been his boy ever since he started going to his show in 2018.
How It Started…
Small Doctor explained what caused their argument by stating, “DJ Spirit had called me that day and said he has an artist, Portable, that he wants me to jump on his song (Zazuu).”
I was shocked to learn that my social media chat with them had prompted calls from multiple others, including my manager.
“A few days later, my DJ informed me that Pocolee and Olamide were included in the song. I was shocked to discover that the song’s artwork had already been created.
“I was pleased to see that since I know that their notoriety will help the song gain popularity, and it did.
The Omo Iya Teacher crooner claimed that after Portable became famous for the song, he persuaded him on multiple occasions to start a music camp, where he wrote the songs “Clear” and “neighbour” for him.
“Since I’ve been supporting Portable for so long, Portable insisted that I be on one of them for him, so I picked the ‘neighbour’ track.
Recall that Portable had disparaged the musician during his tirade session on an Instagram live, claiming that Small Doctor had sent some ‘awawa’ boys after him and told them to strip him nude so that he could enter and save him like a savior.
Angered by the situation, Portable made sure to curse his colleague and let him know that he was worse than him in street manners.
