Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a popular media personality and TV host, recently shared the reason why he doesn’t particularly enjoy celebrating his birthdays.
During an appearance on Channels TV’s program, Rubbin’ Minds, which is co-hosted by Beauty Tukura and Prince Nelson, Ebuka revealed that birthdays make him reflect on his life journey.

He explained that when he looks at his life, he often feels that there is still much more to be achieved. This introspection leads him to get deep in his thoughts and contemplate his goals and aspirations.
Ebuka mentioned, “I think everybody who knows me, knows that I don’t generally enjoy my birthday. I think it is a lot of just self-reflections I do and they get me in this space where I’m like, there is still so much more to achieve.”

He further shared that his approaching birthday would sometimes cause him to anticipate and mentally prepare for it months in advance.
However, he mentioned that his most recent birthday, his 41st, was a bit lighter than usual as he had a quiet day for the most part, and overall, it wasn’t a bad experience.
