Burna Boy, the popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer was surprised by his family in the Netherlands on the occasion of his upcoming birthday.
The Grammy-award-winning artist, who recently canceled his concert in the Netherlands, is turning 32 on July 2, 2023.

In addition to this joyful celebration, Burna Boy has also achieved another milestone in his career. He was announced as the winner of the Best International Act category at the 2023 Black Entertainment Awards (BET).
Despite his absence from the show, Burna Boy received thunderous applause for triumphing over notable artists such as Ayra Starr, Central Cee, and Stormzy in this highly coveted category.

The past few years have been remarkable for Burna Boy. His 2022 album titled ‘Love, Damini’ garnered global acclaim, and he had previously won the BET Award in the same category in 2019 and 2021.
Among the other nominees for the Best International Act award were Aya Nakamura, Ayra Starr, Central Cee, Ella Mai, K.O, L7nnon, Stormzy, Tiakola, and Uncle Waffle.
