Nigerian singer Boy Spyce, also known as Ugbekile David Osemeke, recently shared a personal story about the lengths he went to for love.
In a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria, hosted by reality star Tacha, Boy Spyce revealed that the “weirdest” thing he had done for love was borrowing money to prevent his girlfriend from going on a date with another man.

Boy Spyce admitted that he once borrowed money to the tune of N50,000, which was a significant amount for him at the time. He did this to ensure that his girlfriend wouldn’t go on a date with another guy.
The situation arose when his girlfriend expressed her desire to go out to a place she liked, and another guy wanted to take her on a date.
Boy Spyce’s attempt to prevent this led him to borrow money to fulfill her request and keep her from going out with the other guy.

Reflecting on the experience, Boy Spyce mentioned that he wouldn’t go to such lengths for love anymore, emphasizing that he wouldn’t put himself under financial strain to impress anyone.
