French Montana, the Moroccan-American rapper whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, has received a new Nigerian moniker.

During his visit to Nigeria to film a music video with Swae Lee and Lojay, the acclaimed rapper donned an Agbada outfit, which he effortlessly pulled off, exuding a “bad boy” persona.

French Montana, rocking the Agbada attire, was bestowed with a Yoruba name by Nigerians. In the comments section, numerous Nigerians suggested Yoruba names that suited his status.

Yomi Global proposed “Adetokunbo” as the best Yoruba name for him. HRM Oba Adebiyi suggested “Oluwafrench Balogun,” while Djpeeno offered “Farouq.” Aboob Aenna proposed “Ola Tobe Montana,” and Sterling put forth “Feranmi Ogunmola.” Adetoyinsola recommended “Oluwafemi.”

Furthermore, French Montana expressed his appreciation to Davido, a fellow artist, for extending remarkable hospitality during his stay in Nigeria. French Montana shared numerous videos on his Instagram stories, documenting the memorable experiences he had. He thanked Davido for providing him with his security team and cars.

One video showcased the grand reception that awaited French Montana upon his arrival at the airport, highlighting the warm hospitality and excitement surrounding his visit. Another video featured him exploring the vibrant nightlife, accompanied by Swae Lee and Nigerian artist Lojay. Their presence generated excitement among club-goers and other revelers.

In yet another video, the 38-year-old rapper expressed gratitude to the security personnel and other members of his entourage for ensuring a smooth stay.
