Paul Okoye, a popular Nigerian musician, and his ex-wife Anita have officially divorced at an Abuja High Court in Maitama.
The couple’s eight years of marriage have officially ended, with Anita filing for divorce due to some dissatisfaction. She claimed infidelity, fraud, and being an absent parent, among other things, against Paul Okoye.

Anita had previously accused Paul of defrauding her of a real estate contract to jointly own a mall for which she had paid N10 million.
According to the petition, “That I know as a fact that the Petitioner founded a company called TannkCo in 2019.
“That the Petitioner and the Respondent agreed to build a mall where TannkCo would have its main offices, and the Petitioner contributed N10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) for the purchase of the land and the building of the mall.
“That I know as a fact that the Respondent, upon completion of the mall, reneged on the agreement and failed to give TannkCo a space in the mall.”
Anita, on the other hand, allegedly failed to prove her claims, forcing her to drop them and settle without getting anything from the claim.
Anita Okoye requested a $20,000 monthly settlement as part of the divorce settlement, along with many of Paul’s properties.

The court made a decision and granted the couple joint custody of their children. Anita received no monetary compensation or alimony as a result of the settlement.
During their marriage, Anita and Paul Okoye had three children. Andre Okoye, the oldest child, and twins Nathan and Nadia Okoye.
Paul “Rudeboy” Okoye appeared to have moved on after he recently shared a picture of his new woman “Ifeoma” praising her and hinting that they both attended a churche service together.
