Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, was a well-known singer, composer, and rapper from Nigeria. His cause of death has now been made public.
Earlier, TSZ Naija broke the sad news of the young and brilliant singer’s death at the age of 27. The musician had previously been connected to Marlian Records.
It has been revealed that the rapper’s untimely demise was a result of complications arising from an ear infection.
Sources within Mohbad’s team informed the news platform that he sought medical attention at a hospital during the early hours of Tuesday, September 12, and received an injection as part of his treatment.
Regrettably, Mohbad lost consciousness shortly after receiving the injection and, tragically, did not regain consciousness.
The late artist was widely recognized for his hit songs, including “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke),” the latter of which was produced by Rexxie and garnered three nominations at The Headies Awards in 2022.
