Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, the popular skit maker and actress known as KieKie, has openly revealed that she and her husband were living together before they officially tied the knot.
This disclosure came during her appearance on the TokeMoments podcast hosted by Toke Makinwa.

KieKie and her husband had gotten married in February 2020 and welcomed their first child in November 2022.
Speaking about their relationship, she explained that she moved in with her husband before their marriage due to her house rent having expired several months prior to their wedding.
The comedian clarified that her rent was due in September, while their wedding was planned for January. Given the circumstances, renewing her rent was not feasible.

By that time, they had already undergone their introduction ceremony, though the church was not aware that they were already living together. KieKie even mentioned that she was singing in the church choir during this period.
Despite her initial apprehensions about marriage, KieKie eventually went ahead with it after a series of prayers and discussions with her husband.
