Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, a popular Nigerian singer also known as Iyanya, recently shared his perspective on why many reality TV show winners struggle to achieve lasting success after winning a music competition.
During a recent interview with Hip TV, the winner of Project Fame West Africa Season 1 revealed that most reality TV show stars do not enter the competition with the primary intention of becoming famous.
Instead, they often participate with the mindset of simply giving it a try, and unexpectedly end up winning.
Iyanya further expressed that those who excel and thrive in their careers after winning are individuals who have consistently prayed and hoped for such a platform.
For them, winning the reality show becomes a realization of their aspirations, and they are determined not to let go of the opportunity they have been given.
He emphasized that many reality show winners don’t plan for fame, but for those who do well, their prayers and determination played a significant role in propelling them further in their careers after the competition.
