Edo clarified that Jombo perceived her as rude during their first encounter on a movie set because she arrived late and failed to greet anyone. However, they managed to swiftly move past this incident and even joked about it while sharing drinks.

During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Edo revealed, “Uche and I didn’t start off as friends. She believed I was extremely rude and overbearing. She questioned my self-importance because I kept everyone waiting on set for several days.

Apparently, she had heard about me before, like ‘Oh, that new girl,’ ‘She’s everywhere, all the producers are using her, she’s the new ‘it girl.'” This perception led her to think, ‘Who does she think she is?'”

Edo continued, “Then, when I finally arrived, I didn’t greet her. This upset her greatly, and she actually despised me. However, I guess at some point, the wall between us broke down. I’m a sweetheart by nature, so you can hate me from a distance, but you can’t hate me when you get to know me. That’s just the way it is.”

She further explained, “Eventually, we started talking, and I believe we shared a drink. She wasted no time in telling me, ‘So, you don’t greet people, huh? Don’t you know I’m not your equal?’ (laughs).

I think that’s how the ice was broken, and she has been an amazing person to me. It’s a combination of mutual respect and genuine affection. True friendship is built on love and respect.

Although conflicts may arise and we may step on each other’s toes, having that mutual respect and love enables us to communicate because I enjoy discussing things. We can talk through anything.”
