Nollywood actor Kanayo Kanayo has reached out to his fans for advice regarding a fan’s fear of meeting him due to his portrayal of ritualistic roles in movies.
The veteran actor shared a screenshot of a message he received from a fan on his Instagram page.

The fan expressed that due to Kanayo’s roles in movies depicting him as an unrepentant and cheerful ritualist, he grew up with the perception that Kanayo is associated with dark practices.
Even as an adult, the fan admitted to feeling afraid of Kanayo, not wanting to eat from the same plate or sit close to him out of fear that he might be used for rituals.
The fan’s message acknowledged that he has come to understand that Kanayo is actually a good person and expressed the desire for a “total rebranding” of his perception.
