Chef Dammy, a renowned Nigerian chef, aims to surpass Chef Hilda Baci’s cooking marathon Guinness World Record..
According to TSZ Naija, this announcement comes shortly after Hilda’s Cook-A-Thon, which lasted for 93 hours and 11 minutes, was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records.
In an interview with Vanguard in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, Chef Dammy emphasized that her recent 120-hour cook-a-thon was not registered with the Guinness World Records.
However, due to the support she received from well-wishers and notable individuals in Nigerian society during the event, she has made the decision to cook for 150 hours in her next challenge and ensure it is officially registered with the GWR.
The Ekiti-based chef expressed her openness to new opportunities and experiences in life, stating, “Now that the world knows what I am capable of doing, I think it’s high time everyone started giving me a chance to explore in diverse ways and capabilities.”
Addressing speculations about not registering her recent cooking marathon, Chef Dammy and her team have resolved to embark on a new cook-a-thon program next month, lasting for 150 hours, and ensuring it is duly registered with the Guinness World Records.
With enthusiasm, she declared, “Chef Dammy is coming back!”
