Mercy Atang, a former contestant on the Big Brother reality show, has taken to social media to defend Ilebaye, a housemate in the ongoing BBNaija All Stars, following her clash with Venita Akpofure.
During the All Stars show on Thursday, Venita had advised Ilebaye on how to conduct herself in the house and described her as “a toddler in a China shop.”

Confused by the statement, Ilebaye asked for clarification, and Venita responded, suggesting that not all housemates are equal, and she should be mindful of her interactions.
In response to Venita’s remarks, Mercy Atang expressed her disapproval of intimidation in any form and showed support for Ilebaye. She emphasized that no one in the house is superior to Ilebaye, as they all entered the house for the same purpose.

Mercy encouraged Ilebaye to stand up for herself and not let anyone bully her. She reminded Ilebaye that every housemate is on an equal playing field and has the right to be there.
