The movie has achieved several milestones in its short run, including becoming the first Nollywood film to maintain the number 1 spot for two consecutive weeks.

It also holds the title of the biggest indigenous film of 2023 and the biggest Nollywood film of 2023.

With its remarkable success and continuous record-breaking performance, “Orisa” is setting new standards and raising the bar for Nollywood movies.

According to a post shared by Film One, Funke Akindele’s latest movie, “Battle on Buka Street,” surpassed the box office record of her 2020 released film, “Omo Ghetto: The Saga.”
