Excited chef Hilda Baci has taken to Instagram live to officially unbox her plaque from Guinness World Record.

Chef Hilda Baci had on Monday, June 19, taken delivery of her plaque for the longest cooking time by an individual after she surpassed Indian chef Lata Tondon, in a four-day cooking spree.

Chef Tondon cooked for 87 hours and 45 minutes whereas, Hilda holds the record for cooking for 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Hilda couldn’t contain her excitement as she declared that she is “officially amazing”.

Recall that in May 2023, her cooking spree which was executed for 100 hours, garnered lots of reactions from Nigerians and admirers around the world with some going to the venue in Lekki, Lagos to cheer her up for the great task.

After weeks of waiting, GWR officially released a video detailing how they reviewed Hilda’s cook-a-thon to arrive at their own conclusion.

On Tuesday, June 13, the Guinness World Record officially confirmed the 26-year-old Nigerian chef as the record holder for the longest cooking time by an individual.
