During a conversation on Naija FM’s ‘Across the Bridge’ show, the renowned On Air Personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu Wazobia, shared his thoughts on the deceptive appearances of girls in the choir.
Nedu recounted a personal experience involving a choir member whom he initially believed to be a virtuous girl.

According to Nedu, he had considered proposing to the girl, thinking she was a virgin. However, a friend of his advised him against it, shedding light on the girl’s ungodly behavior during night rehearsals at the church.
In a colloquial manner, Nedu recalled the shocking revelation from his friend, who claimed that the girl was not as innocent as she appeared to be.
During these all-night rehearsals, there were incidents where the girl was seen with a guy sneaking through the back of the stage, and strange moaning sounds were heard.
These noises turned out to be quite different from what was expected of a virgin. Nedu’s friend convinced him that the girl’s outward appearance did not align with her true character.

In response to a question from the show’s hosts about whether this warning only applies to girls or also to boys, Nedu pointed out that even brothers (boys) are often just as untrustworthy, if not worse, in certain situations.
In conclusion, Nedu Wazobia cautioned against blindly trusting the appearances of choir members and urged listeners to be cautious and discerning when it comes to assessing someone’s character. While some may genuinely be wonderful, others might not be as godly as they seem.
