The rivalry between TG Omori and Blaqbonez began when Blaqbonez directed the music video for his hit song “Back In Uni” after refusing to pay what he deemed an excessive fee to TG Omori for his services.

In an interview on the Zero Conditions podcast, TG Omori expressed his opinion that Blaqbonez’s career has experienced a boost due to their online exchanges. He acknowledged that Blaqbonez had used their interactions to generate interest and views for his music videos.
While TG Omori asserted that he is comfortable with the playful banter as long as it remains within boundaries, he made it clear that he believes he is the best music video director in the country.
